RTO Consulting

Angela McGregor

Angela McGregor started her career in the VET sector in the late 1990’s. Starting as a hospitality trainer, then delivering the Workplace Trainer Category 2 and progressing to manager before deciding to take a leap of faith mid 1999 and become a consultant. Additional to running the consultancy in January of 2003 Angela registered her own RTO offer business qualifications and the TAE, which she went onto sell in 2012. Angela brings this first hand experience of juggling compliance with business to the consulting services she provides. While Angela is passionate about all things compliance her areas of speciality are course accreditation, assessment development and administration. Angela has a way of making people relaxed even during the most stressful audit experience and is known for making what seems complex, simple and easy to understand. If you have a question you want answered submit it to Angela for the “Ask a Guru” section in our newsletter. Angela is working with Kerri to bring you an informative and affordable Compliance Coaching Program. In her spare time you will find Angela out and about enjoying what the Gold Coast has to offer.

John Price & Associates

John Price

John Price (Pricey!) started his career in education and training almost 45 years ago. In that time, John has held many roles in the Vocational Education and Training sector – from trainer and assessor, Head of School and Professional Development Co-ordinator of a large public provider through to General Manager of Australia’s first private provider of high technology training for the graphic arts industry as well as auditing on behalf of state, territory and national regulators. John is renowned for his conversational and supportive style in working with people. He specialises in conducting audits for RTOs (including CRICOS and Due Diligence audits) and conducting professional development for staff. John is leading the way as the “main mentor” of The VET Gurus, supporting others in the industry. Apple Computers from the mid-80’s ‘litter' his home and he balances precariously the large collection of Australian pottery that he and his wife collect from the 1930’s through to the 1970’s on any flat surface he can find.
